Description
This Shu Pu Erh is harvested in Yunnan province, China. It is made from assamica tea plants.
When shu pu erh teas are being fermented, some leaves are pressed into a block shape that doesn't lose its shape even when infused: this is called Lao Cha Tou.
This indulgent and sweet shu pu erh brings to mind wood, vanilla pods and mushrooms. A rare Grand Cru.

Prepare this tea warm:
With the teapot or the tasting set: 6 minutes in water heated to 195°F.
With the gong fu cha: infusions during 30-40 seconds.
