Description
The washi canisters celebrate Japanese artisanal crafts and are hand-covered with traditional mulberry paper. This paper is decorated with curling foliage, or karakusa in Japanese, a traditional pattern imported into Japan from China during the Nara period (710-794). It is considered a symbol of good luck and is often combined with flowers, or hana in Japanese.
Discover our cup with the same design! Made by Japanese craftspeople, it is available in a very limited edition.
