Description
This Grand Cru is made in Yunnan, China. The name Jin Hou (meaning “golden monkey") refers to its legend and golden buds. Legend has it that this tea grew in inaccessible locations, and monks would train monkeys to harvest it.
This black tea has a powdered texture that reveals intense notes of leather, wood and cocoa, as well as a subtly honeyed finish.
This tea is organically grown and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent control organization.

Prepare this tea warm:
With the teapot or the tasting set: 4 minutes in water heated to 195°F.
